We kick off the spooky season with one of England's most prolific serial killers from the early 20th century, Harold Fred Shipman, also known as Dr. Death.
He primarily killed elderly women by overdosing them with diamorphine and was notorious for altering his victim's death certificate/health records to fit whatever diagnosis or cause of death he saw fit in order to avoid suspicion.
Shipman's number of victims is estimated to be around 250 people which hits the scope of a natural disaster.
Was it his dying mother that caused him to do the things that he did? Did he hate women? Join us for Episode 1 of Healthcare Horrors and stay safe everyone. Happy October!
